Dr Leit-Chin Siew

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Leit-Chin Siew is a consultant psychiatrist working both in private practice and in the public mental health system. He graduated in medicine at the University of Melbourne, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He also has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Psychiatry, and holds a Certificate of Advanced Training in the Psychotherapies.

He has been a consultant psychiatrist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (NorthWestern Mental Health) since 2009, and works particularly in the areas of rehabilitation psychiatry and eating disorders, as well as general adult psychiatry. He is also the Coordinator of Psychotherapy Training at NorthWestern Mental Health, and is involved in psychotherapy education and supervision of registrars.

In his private practice he works particularly in the areas of eating disorders, long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive psychotherapy, depression and anxiety.
